What we do

The ECC provides a range of prevention, early intervention and mental health services to children, age 13 years and younger. Based on an assessment of need, our trained and skilled staff make recommendations for service. The Services that the Centre offers include:

  • Intake and Referral
  • Service Coordination
  • Consultation to licensed Day Care Centres
  • Consultation and Support/Transition Services
  • Counselling (Family, Individual Child, and Group)
  • Speech and Language (through the City of Toronto Speech and Language Services)
  • Day School Milieu Treatment
  • Intensive Behavioral Intervention (Toronto Partnership Autism Services)

Our staff and consultants come from the fields of Applied Behavior Analysis, Child and Youth Work, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Psychiatry, Social Work and Speech and Language Pathology and related field. With informed and authorized consent, The ECC staff, work in partnership and collaboration with referral sources and representatives from education, health, child welfare and local community and service providers.
