Treatment Services: Reduce or alleviate the child's social, emotional and behavioural problems and help the child to meet his or her full potential.

Intake Services
Our Intake Service receives inquiries and service requests from parents, referral sources and the community. Callers receive information about available community resources and are linked to the appropriate service. Support services, including parenting groups, brief therapy and professional consultation, are available to families waiting for service.

Child and Family Services
The Centre provides a range of assessment and counselling services for children with emotional, developmental and behavioural problems and their families. Services include Family Therapy, Individual/Play Therapy, Group Therapy, Parent Education, Service Coordination, Psychiatric, Psychological and Speech/Language Consultation and Group Programs.

Intensive Child and Family Service
A collaboration of five centres in the north and west quadrants of Toronto provide short-term, intensive, treatment services for children with mental health problems and their families. The services are provided in homes, schools and the community, are strength based and family centred, and are individualized according to the child's needs.

Mental Health Services for Children 0-6
This program provides early identification, intervention and treatment services for young children in the home, school and community settings .The key components of the service are: child development groups, parenting groups and individual counselling.

Day Treatment
The Centre provides Day Treatment for children whose social, emotional and behavioural needs are so significant that they cannot manage in a regular school setting. Three classrooms for children aged 6 to 12 are located at the Centre. Two self contained programs for kindergarten age children operate in community schools. The program includes: a comprehensive developmental and psychosocial assessment, a structured therapeutic program, family counselling, educational program with special education teachers from the Toronto District School Board, Psychological, Psychiatric and Speech and Language consultation.

Toronto Partnership Autism Service
TPAS is a partnership of five agencies working together to provide Intensive Behavioural Intervention for children who have a diagnosis of Autism or Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified. The Etobicoke Children's Centre delivers service to children living in the west quadrant of Toronto.

The West End Sexual Abuse Treatment Program
The Centre is the host agency for WESAT (The West End Sexual Abuse Treatment program), an interagency program providing comprehensive treatment services for victims of childhood sexual abuse and their families. The Children's Program provides assessment, family, individual and group treatment as well as staff supervision and training. The Female Adult Survivor Program provides individual and group counselling.
