Mental health refers to a person’s psychological and emotional well-being. It affects the way we think, feel and behave. A mental health problem can affect our ability to deal with life events.
Read MorePsychological and Psychiatric consultations are only available to those children or youth who are registered clients of The ECC and who are actively involved in service with a counselling or intensive service. Psychological and Psychiatric consultations cannot be accessed as an individual, stand-alone service. The Service Planning team makes a determination of eligiblity for Psychiatric or Psychological Consulation.
Eligible clients must be referred by their Service Coordinator and this must be supported by a letter from a physician. For more information, please speak with the Intake Coordinator at (416) 240-1111 ext. 2238.
