Etobicoke Preschool Consultation Group
EPCG is a coalition of agencies (The Etobicoke Children's Centre, The George Hull Centre for Children and Families and Terry Tan Child Centre) working together to provide consultation services for children and staff in licensed child care settings and licensed home care settings. Services include: consultation and training for child care professionals, assessment and intervention with children, education and support for families, speech and language services (under the auspices of the Toronto Preschool Speech and Language Services). ECC is the sponsoring agency.
Consultation and Support Team
In collaboration with elementary schools, CAST provides a range of mental health services including family treatment, consultation and training for teachers, specialized children's groups, parent education and school wide interventions in designated high needs schools.
Kindergarten Intervention Program (K.I.P.)
The Centre provides assessment, teacher consultation and parent education/consultation to the Board of Education's kindergarten intervention programs in designated schools. These programs are designed for children who have had difficulty adjusting to school, are unable to follow classroom routines and demonstrate non-compliant and aggressive behaviour at school.
