Jeremy De Stefanis, Chair, has more than seven years of accounting policy, financial analysis and financial report experience with privately held and publicly traded companies in the industrial, energy and natural resources sectors. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and received his Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Brad Archer, Past Chair, has over 20 years of front-line supervisory and senior management experience within the provincial government Ministries of Correctional Services, Community and Social Services, and Children and Youth Services. His operational, funding and policy work was in the areas of systems design and evaluation, and was focused on children with mental health needs, including residential services, and people with developmental needs. He has also worked for over 10 years as an independent consultant within the non-profit children and youth sector.
Sandro Serino, Vice Chair, Sandro Serino is a healthcare executive with over ten years experience in government, advocacy, strategy, clinical research and academia. A significant part of his career has focused on the areas of funding reform, performance management and health informatics. He has a Masters in Health Administration from the University of Toronto, is a CHE and PMP. He also serves on the Board of the GTA Chapter of CCHL and is a professor in the George Brown Health Information Management (HIM) program.
Blair Witzel, Secretary, has provided consulting services for 20 years, and has worked with dozens of health service providers, planners, and funders in Canada and the Caribbean. His consulting practice focuses on strategy, planning, and implementation in health information privacy, digital health, and health system optimization.
Chamu Nhamburo, Treasurer, is a Senior Corporate Planning Analyst at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. In addition to his role at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Chamu is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants Professional Educational Programs where he provides guidance and instruction to accounting students. Chamu is a Chartered Professional Accountant and also holds a Master of Business Administration from Illinois State University, USA.
Tim Chapman-Smith is Legal Counsel at the Ontario Medical Association, providing an array of corporate, litigation, governance, policy, GR, and strategy functions. In addition, he regularly assists physician members with a wide variety of practice-related issues. Tim received his B.A. (Hons) from the University of Toronto and his J.D. from Western Law. Prior to his current role, Tim acted as Counsel to the Hon. Stephen T. Goudge in a review of Ontario's medical liability regime for the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. He began his career at McCarthy Tetrault LLP in Toronto and also has experience as a Crown Prosecutor for Ontario.
Ken Fasciano is Director of Communications at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. Ken has more than 20 years experience working in communications at CBC Radio, York University and the Government of Ontario. He holds degrees from the University of Toronto and Ryerson University.
Lubaina Fidaali is a seasoned program manager with experience in leading large complex technology projects, specializing in SAP, within the private and public sectors. Currently she is with Deloitte as a Senior Lead in the Consulting Practice. Lubaina received her Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia, USA.
Taylor Martin works at Michael Garron Hospital as Manager of the Nursing Resource Team and New Nursing Initiatives. He holds both a Master of Engineering and Master of Health Administration from the University of Toronto, where he continues to teach in Health Policy as an Adjunct Lecturer. Taylor is a licensed Professional Engineer.
David Tingle works at Google as an Analytical Lead: he helps Canadian businesses grow by providing a strategic and data-driven perspective on all things digital. Prior to his current role, David worked in management consulting and government relations, and holds degrees from the University of Toronto and McGill University.
Opal Vivera is a Director, Strategy of Business and Product Management at the Royal Bank of Canada. She has over 15 years of experience in strategy, transformation and execution. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Western Ontario and her Bachelor of Arts Degree from York University in 2000. Additionally, Opal is a certified Project Management Professional.
