WESAT Teen Girls Group

Description

The WESAT Teen Girls Group is for girls aged 13-18 who are survivors of sexual abuse. This group helps participants: 

  • Learn to understand the impact of sexual abuse/ sexual assault on you

  • Learn to cope with the effects of sexual abuse/ sexual assault

  • Talk to other young women with similar experiences

  • Get emotional support

The group meets once per week at The Etobicoke Children’s Centre (Hartsdale location). The group is completely confidential and there are no fees for registering or participating. Light refreshments are served. TTC token are provided if needed.

Dates

Wednesday evenings from March 23rd- June 8th, 2016 (10 sessions total) from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm 

Who should come?

Teen aged girls (13-18) who are survivors of sexual abuse. 

All participants are asked to participate in evaluation of their experience of this service.
