Governance

The ECC Board of Directors is made up of volunteers who commit their time, knowledge and skills to The ECC through governance. The ECC Board annually reviews its current skills and identifies possible gaps to ensure good  there is a strong board focussed on governance, strategic directions and  being responsive to the community . Postings for Board Directors positions are generally placed on this website in February as well as Volunteer Toronto and Diversity on Board.  Applications can be  submitted after the posting to ecc@etobicokechildren.com. Inquiries may also be made to the Executive Director at 416 240 1111 ext. 2224.

Other volunteer possibilities:

From time to time, The ECC seeks volunteers for special responsibilities  (e.g. reading to children, helping with group set up, supporting evaluation activities) or adminstrative tasks (parent library, professional resources, office tasks).

Any interested volunteers who would like to volunteer with a child/children must submit a letter of interest, an application, current resume, as well as agree to provide a cleared and current vulnerable sector screening completed by their commuity police department. Potential volunteers will also be part of screen and interview process and if successful  will be oriented to The ECC.

Please check this page soon for more information about getting involved with The ECC as a volunteer!
