Teen Girls Empowerment Group

Description

The ECC is excited to offer A Teen Girls Empowerment Group for 13-15 years old girls.  The group will run on Thursdays from 4pm to 6pm for 10 weeks out of our Rexdale Location. The group will explore various topics that are of interest to the participants with a focus on connections – specifically their relationship with themselves, their peers, their communities, and society.  Many approaches will be used including expressive arts, experiential exercises and discussion.  The group is offered as a standalone service (participants do not have to already be clients of the ECC to participate and do not have to go through Intake to join), but can also be helpful for those transitioning into or out of counselling or other services.
